Competition Objectives.
This is an entry level competition aimed at the novice or intermediate XC pilot wishing to experience a competition in a safe and friendly atmosphere. This is not a thermaling course, it is assumed that the pilot is already thermaling. However, pilots with low XC hours will still gain valuable experience and insights into competition flying.
GPS’s are not required. Handicapping is used in scoring.
1 advanced pilot, 2 Novices & any 2 other rated pilots make up a Crew, so get your friends together, or we can help you find a crew.
With Funding from the NSWHGPA, there may be free Hill Transport.
Each Pilot must have a HGFA membership, Manilla Sky Sailors Membership, UHF Radio & Reserve Chute.
In the evenings there are talks and Videos.
